The Voyager begins with your first-class, private airport pick-up from Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela/ San Jose (SJO).
Upon exiting SJO Airport, your private Adventure Tours Costa Rica driver will be waiting for you with our easily identifiable logoed shirt and a placard with your name on it. As he assists you with your luggage, climb inside one of our late model, air-conditioned, top-of-the-line transport vehicles, stretch out and enjoy the ride.

As you settle into your luxury, fully-furnished beachfront condo, you will find that no expense has been spared. This serene luxury will become the backdrop for the first 3 nights of your exciting Voyager vacation package with us.
Check Into a Luxury Retreat
Relax and take in the amazing countryside that surrounds on your ride from the airport to your luxury oceanfront condo in Jaco Costa Rica. Our professional, bilingual drivers will be happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.
Upon your arrival in Jaco, you will be greeted by your personal Adventure Tours concierge who will assist your group with condo check-in and provide you with all the communication you need during the first leg of your amazing tri-city journey.
Adventure Tours Costa Rica’s bilingual and professional team is on the ground and ready to assist should you need anything throughout your stay.
Following this stop, your group will head to the Paz del Campo tilapia farm, (closed Tuesdays - delicious alternative offered), where you will enjoy some of the most delicious local cuisine that Jaco has to offer. The hidden tilapia farm and restaurant provides not only some of the best authentic Costa Rican food you will have, it also offers an incredibly serene environment and the fun of fishing the tilapia right from the gazebo above the pool that surrounds the restaurant.

ATV Ride to Ocean Overlooks
After a peaceful first night, day two of the Voyager Package begins bright and early with an exciting, half-day ATV adventure through the secondary rainforest mountains that surround Jaco.
Our guides will pick you up at your condo and bring you to our headquarters just a couple minutes away from your accommodations. Upon arriving at our office, we will get you geared up and ready to go. Following expert driving instruction from our knowledgeable, bilingual guides, your group will climb onto your ATVs and take off on your epic, 4-hour ATV tour through rainforest, rivers, countryside and small mountain villages.
The first stop on your trip will be a gorgeous jump & swim waterfall - the perfect spot for a jungle swim and some incredible pictures. If you are looking for a little extra adrenaline, the Waterfall Pura Vida also boasts a platform and several spots to jump in to the pools below.
After your amazing waterfall swim, your group will continue up through primary rainforest to the top of the mountain range, where a beautiful mirador offers incredible views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.
Catamaran Cruise to Tortuga Island
Day three of your vacation package begins with a morning pickup from your condo where you will be driven in an air-conditioned, top of the line bus to the port of Puntarenas.
Upon your arrival, you will enjoy a delicious continental or traditional Costa Rican breakfast before boarding our state of the art Catamaran. Soon after you are on route to Tortuga Island where beautiful white sand beaches, tropical fish and incredible views await you!
The less than 45 minutes long cruise to Tortuga offers a variety of thrills, from dolphin spotting, to cooling in the small pool located at the bow of the ship. Perhaps you will enjoy the warm Pacific breezes at the shaded stern, or take in the sites from the Captain’s deck. A fresh, complementary fruit plate is yours to enjoy during this incredible cruise, and adult beverages may be purchased at the Catamaran bar. Once you arrive on Tortuga, you will enjoy several activities, from a free complementary banana boat ride to snorkeling with equipment that is provided free of charge.

Discover a Wild Crocodile Habitat
On day four of this Costa Rica vacation package, wild thrills and incredible nature are the focus as you climb aboard the Mangrove boat. You will take an exhilarating ride down the Tarcoles River, home to over 2000 Central American crocodiles, many of which are as long as 15 feet.
Teaming with wildlife and incredible rare birds, the mangrove boat ride will bring you extraordinarily close to our massive, native crocodiles. To add to the excitement, your expert guide will carefully feed them by hand.
The Tarcoles River is the convergence of three separate eco-systems, bringing a stunning variety of reptiles, mammals and rare birds to the area. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy the over 50 species of birds that can be found here, from scarlet macaws to egrets, to kingfishers and more. Bring your camera and your sense of adventure for this exciting up-close, 2-hour long interaction with nature.
Arriving in Monteverde in the early evening, you will check into a beautiful boutique hotel just minutes from the Monteverde Cloudforest. For the next two nights, this incredible location will be your home away from home.

Zip Line on an Amazing Canopy Tour
Day five starts early with a heart-pumping, unforgettable trip through the Monteverde Cloud Forest on a half-day adventure that combines the epic excitement of canopy ziplines with the unparalleled views of gondolas and hanging bridges.Teaming with wildlife, the lush cloudforest is home to over 130 types of mammals, 500 types of birds and over 120 species of amphibians and reptiles. Following 1.7 miles of thrilling zipline cables, your group will board the gondolas for a peaceful ascent to the top of the cloudforest mountain. Have your cameras ready for this amazing journey!
Once you reach the mountain’s summit, you will embark on a series of 5 hanging bridges that are surrounded by nature and suspended over canyons, for a 1.5 mile hike across the upper level of the rainforest canopy. Rounding out this amazing adventure, your group will enjoy a trip to the herpetariaum for a close-up look at over 40 species of snakes, frogs, lizards, toads and turtles.
After being picked up from your hotel in Monteverde, your exciting and picturesque journey from Monteverde to Arenal begins on this 3.5 hour adventure by van, horse and ferry. Your luggage will be shuttled to your next hotel for you, leaving nothing to distract you from your incredible journey through beautiful Costa Rica back country on route to Arenal. Following scenic paths to the small town of El Castillo, you will climb aboard our ferry and relax with gorgeous views of Arenal volcano as a backdrop.
Upon arriving at shore, you will be greeted by our van, ready to take you and your luggage to the beauty and comfort of your Arenal volcano-view hotel. Resort amenities include swimming pools, an onsite restaurant beautiful, manicured grounds and complementary breakfasts. Our volcano-view Arenal hotel is the ultimate way to slip into pampered relaxation as day 6 of your Voyager package draws to a close.
Travel by 4x4 and Boat
Traveling is the adventure tour when going from Monteverde to La Fortuna. We begin with a pick-up at your hotel and a take a 4x4 drive making your way to Arenal.
The scenic route takes you along Lake Arenal with magnificent views of the Arenal Volcano, down jungle and rainforest trails, and past wide-open farmland.
You dismount by the edge of Lake Arenal where a water taxi will take you over to La Fortuna on the other side of the lake. The covered flat-bottomed motorboat takes under an hour to cross the glorious body of water. So settle in to enjoy the fresh air and lake views and keep an eye out for the myriad of tropical birds that populate the spot. On the opposite shore, ground transportation will be waiting to take you on to your hotel.
With over 5 mineral spring pools ranging in temperatures from 77-122 degrees Fahrenheit and propelled in the form of rivers, which by gravity, weave their way through the spa, each pool is packed with minerals that are perfect for loosening tense and tired muscles, while simultaneously rejuvenating your skin and instilling a calming sense of happiness and well-being.
