Taco Bar

Home Of the $3 Breakfast And the All-You-Can-Eat Salad Bar!

Try Tacobar’s famous fish tacos prepared to order with your choice of beer-battered, coconut, spicy, or herbal seasoning. They also serve beef, chicken, shrimp, calamari and veggie Tacos, as well as amazing Yellow Fin Tuna steaks. Most of the menu dishes include an all-you-can-eat access to the exotic salad bar.

The swing-style bar seating and plenty of outside tables gives the atmosphere of a fun, laid back dining experience that is perfect for families, couples or singles alike.

Diners can enjoy great prices and quick, friendly service in a beautifully lit open-air restaurant with a warm tropical vibe. All the cashiers are bilingual and very friendly.

We recommend the homemade Hummus, delicious Burritos, the signature Fish Tacos and the extraordinary 1 liter fruit smoothies. For beverages, try a traditional Italian cappuccino in the morning or the wonderful homemade Ginger-Mint Lemonade for a cool afternoon refreshment.

What is standard tipping practice in Costa Rica?

Costa Ricans are not strangers to the generous tippers from the United States, and in fact many depend upon it. Service industry workers such as drivers and guides are accustomed to receiving what their equals might receive in the US.

However, one notable exception is the Costa Rican restaurant. It in not uncommon to be automatically charged 10% for service and 13% for taxes at many restaurants in Costa Rica. Though some unknowingly tip 15% - 20% on top of this inflated amount, adding 10% for excellent service can be seen as both a gesture of generosity and understanding.
